The Midas Computer Solutions Flood Database, first used in Carlisle for the collation of household information for emergency services during the flood in January 2005, has now been made available via the Emergency Planning College for all UK local authorities. The database was also used during the Doncaster and Gloucester floods of summer 2007.
Carlisle City Council opened its new IT training suite at the start of December 2007. The suite is equipped with 7 state of the art networked PCs, linked to internet and intranet facilities and making use of SmartBoard technologies.
Midas Computer Solutions has taken on a contract to design a suite of e-learning materials in the areas of Attendance Management, Disciplinary Procedures and Recruitment Appointment Procedures.
